ahhahahahha i almost died of laughter wen i saw vote 5 at the top while killing th final bandit that was a nice subliminal message man nice one. tell ya wat. wen u become a better flash artist (i see potential) redo this and add more story...it can be your uhhh trademark kinda thing

"Style compensating for bad art"

Not bad, especially since the artwork was very amateur. You had a lot of good effects that helped fill in the blanks for the more complex animations (particular the blood streeked slash). and there was a lot of good suspense built up. This helps hide the fact that the artwork was pretty bland and, like before, was very amateur. I highly suggest taking a look at a lot of art sights that give some tips to help understand body proportions. Other than the art, though, the rest of the animation was done very well and I can see that you took some time and really worked hard on it. I like it a lot and can not wait to see how you grow here in Newgrounds.

"Better than Happiest Tree, but still a bit lacking"

Yes, it's better, but it still lacks a bit. The graphics could've used a little more detail. The ninja doesn't even look LIKE a ninja, just a samurai. The blood from the sanurai's sword on the end page actually curves into the air. And the last bandit from the group that lived must've had some weird sprain or someting, because his arm looks really slanted then going downward.

The sound was also a bit better, and the style would've had a greater rating if you made it into a "revenge" story or something- if you had had a little more background (i.e. the bandits destroyed his hometown, or the bandits killed a family member in the first place) would've helped viewers understand a LOT more.

Well honestally it had absolutely no plot whatsoever, which wouldent have been a problem if you had subsutitued it with really good humor or action, and honestally this had neither
