Blam this piece of crap!
This makes poop look good.
Nothing too new or interesting.
Not bad. In fact… I like it!

This is my first flash animation ever. It was created as the final project of my video production class. There really isn't a story other than how things happen when studying for college finals and all.
I am looking for honest critiques of the animation quality as this will help me improve. Thanx...

I thought you did really well with this piece because it felt like you showed us a student working through a mind block and then carrying on with his work from where he left it. Nicely animated also, im not sure exactly how you animated this but it looks fantastic. I thought the calm music also suited this well. Overall a good watch.

Thanks. That was what I was going for. I created this using Adobe Illustrator to create the individual frames and put them together in Flash. I used Apple Motion to create the computer screen effects, and did the music using Garageband loops. Thank you for the feedback.
"First Attempt"
Great First Showing, Very creative. The only thing I would work on is the music. thou it kind of fit the movie, but I my opinion it was alittle bland. Hope to see some more later, Thanks
Yeah the music was something that was created at the last minute using Garageband. So I can easily see what you mean.
Thank you.
"Great style convincing animation"
This is impressive - I wish my first movie was this well animated. The animation is good and the colour is well chosen although for me - a bit bland. Scene changes work well to maintain interest. You are a great animator and I look forward to seeing your skills applied to something with a more defined story line.
Thank you. I think a lot of the problems with the colors is that I based them off the colors in my dorm room at the time. I was originally creating this to be displayed on a NSTC screen, and so I couldn't use the vibrant colors that CRT or LCD is able to display. The next project will take advantage of a better color variety.
"Nice Job"
You animation skills are really well developed. The graphics had a nice touch to them and the animations flowed together pretty well. Clean up some of the motion and I will look forward to your future submissions.
Thanks. I am working on fixing a lot of the problems in future projects. I think I benefited from working with Illustrator first, which helped with the drawing aspects of this. I learned a lot, and that should allow me to create something better.
"Kinda boring. BUT it's a experiment."
If you touch up your animation so it gets a nice flow and smoothness. (Make the animation look natural) AND add some sort of story line. . . . You will be a great if not a SUPER flash animator!
I wish you luck in your future projects!
Thanks, given the overall response from people I will submit future projects here instead of wasting time on tube sites. Basically this was me just learning my way around flash, and I plan on doing more complex things with an actual storyline.
