Not bad, but not the best
I liked it, it wasn't that smooth, but it added some "stick-zaz" to the whole star wars thing. You've got talent, you just need some real drawings. Not saying sticks aren't good.

This is my first Flash, which I developed for a 6-week summer course I took to learn Flash. I've gotta say, I had no ****ing clue how long it takes to do a frame-by-frame animation like this. I fully expect this to get blammed, but any helpful comments would be great. The big reason this sucks is that I tried to do too much within the given time frame. Hopefully I'll finish this the way I intended it by the end of the summer, and then I'll be able to submit an average-looking stick fight.
I appologize for lack of pre-loader and for the fact that the sound effects keep going after the movie stops playing. Like I said, I'm real nw at this, and these aren't things I really know how to do.
****ADDITIONALLY****
I just realized that its playing at 12 FPS, when I animated at 24 fps, so the damn thing doesn't even play properly. Blam this, b/c it looks like shit.

yes i understand the frustrations of frame by framing. but im not gonna blam you thats pretty damn good 4 a first flash cant wait to c the finished product good luck!

As I said and I am aware of one other who has said this to you: great effort on your first try! You got guts kid!! Keep up the good work.
This style, unfortunately has been done. However don't let that hinder your ideas. If you like the stick person style, stick to it...
Other than that, unfortunately I cannot give you anymore advice. Except compliment you on the strange opening with the stick figure drinking on the bottom while the top stick man is fiddling around with swords. Nice touch. ^_^
Sticks=Done
That was an absolutely fantastic first effort. The movements were smooth, and despite it's shortcomings it wasn't actually a bad flash.
The main problem is the idea. Stick figures have been done. In almost every imaginable way. Especially in any fighting way.
If you want to keep using sticks at the moment you could always try an unual approach. Like for example a stick guy lounging around in his house, drinking coffee, watching the tv etc. then give an unexpected ending.
I'm not saying you should use -my- idea (it's not exactly awesome either =/) but you have great potential, you just need the right idea.

this aint bad for a first go..i liked the landscape..stick men are pants though so i marked it down for that. keep practising
