I havn't logged in for a while, and enjoy passively watching flash submissions every now and again. I stumbled on your movie, watched it, and was compelled to read the reviews, and your responses to them. Then I felt the need to review it.
Its absolute tosh.

That doesn't mean, though, that it's anything special. You appear to be a fairly decent animator, because the actual animations were fairly decent. However, the flash seemed to be really lacking, so as a result, I'd view it more as a novelty that you'd just briefly look at and then wander away from to look at something more substantial. Art shouldn't have to be forcibly explained to people, nor should it necessarily be that only a select few elite "get it"; there's plenty of other flash works on NG that are artistic and non-elitist that can perform the same functions that you tried to do here.

This flash is infectious; once you've got it, it stays with you for a damn long time! I read some of your more amusing responses, and genius through simplicity it is. Sadly, though, no matter how artsy this is, there's no denying that truly great animation and originality (CD clip-art...) are lacking, and despite the fact that I have poor hearing I could have sworn there was no sound. Pity that the message is marred by something as superficial as the animation. A nice, round 3/5 should do it, methinks. You've clearly got some great stuff stacked up in that head of yours; why not bang it into some more flash?

It's so fucking you, Hice. Bizarre, pointless, yet it conveys so much emotion and meaning. It's almost existential. It makes me rethink all that I've been doing with my life.
