PLEASE READ: I had to remove part of the menu, so the Actionscript got messed up. Don't lower score because of that. I'll try to fix it.
Hey Newgrounds! I (A.C.E-Corn)decided in April to whip up this collab, I had 9 original artists, but I ended up removing 3 of them.
Antoine has credit for the preloader.
AMAZING CREDITS TO TOMFITZ FOR THE MUSIC.
[8/3/08] Holy shit menus fixed + Sound quality improved.
This collab is just... wait...WTF
"Dunkler", These guys were perfect in every movement and detail, you rate on how the animation is, not how you adjust to it, if I didn't like the plot or whatever of something, even though it was very goodly animated, I wouldn't lower my score down to a four. And some people like the style of no sounds, which fit perfectly in this submission. I hope next time you don't act like a smartass who knows everything.
....PERFECT! I love it.
Darkslider? ahahah, dunkler.
Sorry to tell you that it falls to the stereotype.
For the longest time, people have been attempting to capture the image that Krinkels had with his Madness cartoons. They started out awesome- and they only got better. And no matter how hard people tried...everything (to me at least) just pales in comparison. But I'm not giving general critique, I will cite specific problems and where the merits lie with this particular cartoon.
First off, I have to say that practice does indeed make perfect. And if at first you don't succeed: try, try again. Just because I'm writing this review on the basis that I didn't enjoy your cartoon as much as I do Krinkel's doesn't mean that you don't have any potential- quite the contrary, in fact. In due time, you could easily reach that level of Flash Guru-ism and create quality work of that caliber. So don't let anything I say bring you down.
Secondly, the music was a tad bit louder and rampant. It detracted away from the movie itself. And with no sound effects of the guns of the knife-fighting, I found it just to be a set of characters moving across the scene and killing things in a very vanilla-esque way. Realize that part of the violent sounds are apart of it: the ferocity of punches can't be mimicked by causing a protagonist's hands down upon a head. No- you need the sound of fists beating against something (cartoon-sounding or no) and reactionary impulses to that force.
Keep up your work.
That was great, but the sound needs to turn down a little.
