A few people have been getting confused, but the afterburner only works when the yellow bar is charged, and it drops to zero if you shoot or get shot (to avoid ruining the 4th point in the list below)
Also, if you want to start in a destroyer, press 'End' to self-destruct in your fighter.

Okay, so the initial game concept was basically like this:

- Huge space battles (with several distinct forces)
- Intelligent AI
- Allied ships
- Giving the player no significant advantage other than their playing skill

As far as we’re concerned we accomplished all of that, and in doing so we’ve made something that feels quite unique to play. Now we’re just hoping that you folks agree =]

Nice Game, keep on

It is quite amusing, but when you fight more than 1 Force you need a lot of Luck to gain a Victory. It would be better if you could give youre squad some commands. And at last you could implement some more ship types.

I look forward to your next game.

I love this...

Simple yet very fun. I does remind me of some of the space type shooters like Flashtrek and 2 other games (I cannot remember the names). Anyway, this may go on to have a storyline, and that will greatly improve the game.

take that guy below on the scoreboard :D
this was an awesome game, can't wait for a sequel!!!!!
also, for people playing, the destroyer ship maybe Ub3r powerful but seriously, i got my score with a fighter, in the end it's easier to get that score with manourverability

Also, this is my first review ever, i just decided to make an account now, even though i've been using Newgrounds for 5 or so years :S

AndrewMartin responds:

Heh, you raped the score board pretty good XD

Well done. I also prefer the fighters to destroyers; there's more room for player skill really. And i feel honoured that we got your first ever review ^.^

Nice game

Very good game, as stated, it's too bad you have to start over when you die.
Some improvments for next version or for version 2.0

- Skirmish, setup your own battlefield
- Restart button for campaign, as suggested
- some more ships to control, for more varity
- using your score to buy new ships for your team, would be a nice addition.
