Joe Zombie is an addictive series, entertaining and scary to watch. This aged so well. I'm 32 years old and as a teenager it warped my fragile little mind lol

Watching the whole series again after years. Yeah, there are the improvements after the original series, but there's also the improvements made while making this second iteration. That's just an observation that I enjoy and for me adds to the series as a whole.

The way you frame shots, the concepts that you come up with and execute on just blow me away. The fact that Last Resort started as non-diegetic and then became diegetic and how that had an insanely good impact to increase the intensity of the sequence! Then I have MAD RESPECT for all these parts where you clearly didn't have an ideal way to animate something but you did what it took to understand what was happening and it always ALWAYS worked!! The 'helicopter' shot of the city and the transition to the 3D buildings was so well done. The jump from the roof through the window was perfectly executed. The FUN, COOL, AND SCARY ALL AT THE SAME TIME MOMENT of Joe sneaking up on the person washing their face. AMAZING callback to classic horror movies!! BRO the way you faked 3D so well in the elevator door opening bullet time sequence was insanely effective. I love everything about this animation and this series as a whole. I seriously want to get a frame or a character from this episode tattooed on my body.

Is it just me, or does Joe Zombie get smarter every time he eats someone’s brains? It kind of seems like it.
