If you want to make a Pong-style game, I first recommend giving the computer a few different difficulty levels. Second, the word "play" shouldn't be on the actual playing screen. When it opened up, I thought the game there was a preloader and I was supposed to click play. On that note, put in a preloader of some kind. I hope you resubmit this with these points considered.

Not bad for a first attempt, but....

...it could be better. I won't be harsh because a) your young and b) its your admitted first game. Some tips though, you may want to make top and bottom borders so the ball doesn't seem to be bouncing off of nothing. Put sound to it, and make the graphics of the person and the penquin better. Stylize it a little, its too plain and frankly i got bored quickly. consider adding levels of difficulty where the ball goes faster.

But, a very noble attempt. I think with some refurbishing, it could be a decent game.
