UPDATE ** 09/01/07 - Fixed a bunch of shit after months of neglect. lols.

This movie/interactive/whateve r-you-wanna-call it was more of an experiment than anything.
Originally, my idea was to just use a soundtrack i had used in a previous pico movie and try and do something totally different with it... which definately was challenging and im never doing again lol.
While I was at it I thought to myself why not mix interactive elements inside the movie, endurance type of 'games' where if you outlast it the movie continues if not then you are booted to a 'bad' ending. Thats where David aka TrueDarkness came into the mix and as a result you have this pseudo movie with game elements.. its an intruiging idea ill probably do in later movies at a grander scale. Major thanks to David for sharing in my vision and putting up with my crap.

It may be pico day for you guys but to me today will always be NENE DAY. because i love them yellow honeyssss.

Happy birthday Tomo.

Graphics are good

But gameplay is impossible... I don't have much of a review because I can't get past the first level, but the graphics are great... but its the gameplay that needs tweaking up A LOT!

wow, that is hard

I mean it´s hard that you put so much work into something and then make it unplayable. I thought you wanted to make a game and not a nerve test.

Anyway, the second level is just ridiciliciouoicsioucolisocs impossible. There are so many flaws it´s realy incredible:
- common human reaction time is 1second, in your time between appearance of obstacles and colision is for sure less than 1 sec
- the objects have absolutely no contrast
- I don´t know if you tested it on a mac which has as far as I know a locked framerate of 20fps, which makes all mac users ruin ladder boards or high frame rates
- there is a LAG in the second level when the obstacles appear making it even more impossible to avoid them.
- I thought Nene is a cute girl and not such an awful doll you drawn her like. When she jumps down the cliff after the first level her ass looks awful.

And since all my comments with constructive critics get deleted by the ridiciliciouscioscisoioes "moderators" here read it and remember it.

Not for those with laser mice...

I can't even get past the second level since my mouse doesn't read fast enough (it requires me to jerk it so fast that movement doesn't register). At least it looks nice.

Like they said, fun but frustrating...

Hey Luis, I was wondering where the hell your Pico fight movie was.

I'm glad to see you didnt make one, thats what 98% of the movies this year were. I wish there was more to this, maybe some knife throwing challenge or something besides running away from a bear. I got really frustrated at the bird thing (in a good way) It took me like 8 tries to beat it. It even made me hit my desk, and games usually never make me mad.

Anyways, this was a cool experiment, and since you lead the example in Pico day movies, maybe kids will stop making the same old Pico vs whoever type of movies.

PS I loved your Korean pop music, I grew up on that stuff. (Korean mom)
