the SHIT!!

this game is hella awesome, from the way the zombies look and die so realistically, everything is smooth it kinda tricks you into looking for weapons only but what really helps you is looking for survivors! a five!!

Kind of difficult at first until you figure out how to properly use the hours given to you. I liked it.

ARRR!

This game is totally unforgiving! It's fun, but I wouldn't know that too well, since I can only get to Day 3. Before you call me a n00b, keep in mind that I'm a defense/strategy game junkie. The sequel has a bit of a more gradual learning curve.

Zombies + Chainsaw + Shotgun = Evil Dead! (almost)

I bet Ash Williams would be proud... (if you don't know, watch the movie!)

Graphics: 9
Top notch effort. Nice job! In my opinion though, I prefer frame-by-frame animation rather than static animation (where something moves, sometimes to a degree, but the picture looks the same, except rotated)

Style: 8
Awesome work on how a person should survive a zombie horde. Though the idea of zombies vs. miniscule amounts of surviving humans has long been used...

Sound: 7
It's alright. Some of the gun sounds were very similar to one another. And I could barely hear the groaning of the zombies from all the gunfire...

Violence: 8
Not the most violent thing I've seen, but definitely not the least.

Interactivity: 9
Almost everything the player could control. It would have been nice to control other humans on where'd they aim and/or give them different guns.

Humor: 5
Nothing too special, though I did appreciate reading the journal every day to see what the player wrote.

Overall: 7
The zombie genre has been drained for a long time now. At least you took the time to make a quality one! Kudos to you!

One thing I couldn't understand is why the heck can't the Barrett pierce body armor! Man, the rifle is an anti-material gun, which means it disables/destroys vehicles or metal/electrical equipment. Such a round could easily penetrate army-grade body armor!

Oh, and popmonkey123, you obviously didn't play any "House of the Dead" games, did ya? Follow Ash William's method of shoving a boomstick down their throat!

Aiming sucks...

Everything about this game was great until zombies piled up (more than one in same area). I'd try shooting one zombie in the head but it would keep hitting other zombies' legs, torso, etc. Everything but what I was aiming at. Until the aiming is fixed, it's just a decent game. It can be a great game though.
