a truely welcome time killer

this game was very nicely done for a defense game. my only critcism is the lack of unlimited powerups and weapons, and it would more interesting if you could expand the the base so that more pepole could fit. also assigning weapons to the survivors and have them develop experience in shooting would be interesting. maybe have the base douyble sided and two player in that sense. i am looking forward to the sequel. it was very well done.

one of the best zombie/ defense games ever

it was very well done, this is your first submission? this was definitly a great game, i enjoyed how instead of you sitting there just mindlessly killing, you can search for survivors, repair and find new weapons, each new weapon removed any repetition in the game and the people who actually fight alongside you was a great idea as well, overall this was one of the best games i have seen on newgrounds, if you could make a sequel or even a tottally new game i expect you would get the same response, great job great job

A tight portal submission

Congratulations of frontpage! It's a pretty well thought out game. I have a few suggestions for your future endeavors (or this one, if you choose to edit it a little).

Some of the weapons were glitchy in that you could start firing (and expend ammo) but you wouldn't be actually firing bullets to kill the enemy. The AK and M4 were notably guilty of that.

Add some music, or at least the option to have music playing or not. Music adds so much to a game, even if it's fairly simple, atmospheric fare.

The weapons were kind of unbalanced. The magnum and chainsaw were too powerful and you got them too early. It would've made more sense to have the less useful weapons like the shotguns unlock sooner than ones that were useful the whole way through.

Finally, it would be a nice option to set the number of days you wish to play for, including an option that will never end.

Anyway, fantastic submission. I enjoyed playing it. I hope to see more of your work grace the portal.

It was good except for...

Good except that you can't shoot down...Like zombies come at the bottom part and you can't shoot them...maybe it's just me.

WOW. That Rocked

This is the best defense game on the internet. Wow, that game ROCKED. Well I can't give you a 10/10 for a few minor things. The whole trapped 20 days thing is awsome. Ill try to make a few suggestions. The 20 days thing was kinda short for starters, and the game was way too easy, and when you get the hunting rifle, the game is no longer challenging you at all. The zombies inflict virtually no damage and I got 92% health as my all time low for my 1st run through of all 20 days so the 7 survivors healing 35 health in an hour seemed like a joke. Weapon-wise was the order you recieve the weapons was questionable. Give the chainsaw or a weak version of it as a starter weapon with the pistol. The hunting rifle should have come a bit later in the game. Now that all my complaining is out of the way I'll praise you plain and simple. The reloading amd ammo was perfect with all the weapons and made a very well done balance scheme. I'd have to say I have never seen any game except yours with a legit reason for upgrades. The hours effect as well as the searching concept was a great idea and was very cool. Survivors were a neat feature and the loss of them was a neat concept. If you plan to make a sequel I sugeest a feature of survivors being unique so if you lose one you don't regain the same one again. Also increasing the learning curve would make the game 20x again.
