yeah well its a movie about emo.. funny right=/ mm no, i like the graphics i guess. unique style of drawing people. but umm hmm. i think you can make a better movie then drawing people cry. you know everyone crys emotional or physical so you dont have to make fun of a stupid label.

Something inside me tells me this had the potential to be something so much better. Oh no no, don't get me wrong, this was nothing short of excellent in the fields of animation, graphics and sound quality. I think it would be a front pager if some of the clips didn't repeat so much. But maybe I just imagined that. Either was I gave it a 5/5 because it's better than 98% of all the NG submissions. I look forward to more from this "vamplair"
P.S. I know you kinda need that song but I gave you a 2 in sound because I hate emo music.

That was not the stuff i like to listen to but flashwise it was pretty well animated and the sound quality was great. keep up the good qaulity of your flashes :D
Firs off i cant stand Emo anything! but the animation was pretty good so i voted 4.
The only way this flash would have had any saving grace is if it had some real emotional depth. There was no ideas in this flash that can not be found in hot topic. The song was self self righteous and made me angry. The toys in the bedroom made him out to be a lot younger than he should have been... inless he is a emo 8 year old...
Unlike most movies on NG, this actually has a somewhat positive message about emo kids. Rather than calling emos "fags" and showing them cutting their wrists in the corner, you showed a kid having a bad day and being made fun of. I respect that.
The first problem I saw was the lack of character animation. Once you get the characters moving better, you could make something incredible.
Second, you should put the songs in the credits.
Third, the songs sound messy the way you cut them at the end. It could be better.
And the radio at the beginning just seems to be there for too long.
And for suggestions...
Maybe show a few little scenes of a more colorful outside world (maybe have the kid look out the window or something?)
You could also have some fuzzes and lines in some places, like on an old film, just for effect. I think it might look nice, since it fits with the black and white. Of course, that's just my opinion.
Anyway, good movie.
Oh, and I like the fancy border.
Why was he still alive at the end?
I laughed when he got hit in the head with the ball he threw, but the fact that he was still living at the end of the Flash was disappointing.
The animation was pretty good, though.

Anyway, I have a friend who might commit suicide and is "emo" and a note, that label really pisses me off. Most people called it "a short version of 'emotional'" but if that's the case, use emotional, not the short.
Anyways, it's a bit short for me. I was kind of hoping to seesomething a little more, but it's good. I felt for the guy, especially when he broke his milk glass :'(

Ok, I'm not a Emo girl, but I respect Emos, also because I've passed a very dark time in my life, since I was just 7, when my mother started taking psychoactive drugs. I've become alcoholic and a smoker, and I still often feel like this guy.
I dont want to bother you with my story, I'll just say that mocking people that are passing a hard time is not good. This submission isnt stupid or boring like many others about Emos. I liked it.
this is pretty good because i really respect emos,and i understand them.ive been bullied around,beaten up,and basically felt like killing my self.but enough with that,this is one one the very few super-goring emo flashes and this is almost the only one that doesnt hate on them.

Your artistic skill is rather considerable. The music was appropriate and meshed well with the video. 9/10 on that. You archived what you tried to do quite well. I do find it funny how so many reviews aren't actually on the art itself. As far as content goes you really only made a music video so 7/10. That evens out to 8/10. Well done. I rather liked it even though it was an emo complaining about his life. Helpful hint for all you emos, stop thinking about yourself and think about how good your life is. You could be in a prison camp in communist North Korea getting tortured, or you could have watched your girlfriend get raped in-front of you. In response to Shadow409, not all emos suffer from depression. My friends who were emos only became emo because it was "in". It's stereotypical to say they are all depressed and cut themselves. You are only adding to the negative stereotypes.
Love your vid's, But the drawing could use a bit of work, and at least this one doesnt use a Fully stereotypical emo.
Honestly, the word 'emo' and the group. is really meaning a person who expresses what there feeling, and try to keep there depression, or there feelings from staying locked up.
And that leads to categories of 'emo', which all usually tend to be grouped together with that 1 word.
Emo comes in MANY groups, theres the common cutter, which is just a person suffering from depression that wants to put more pain on there body, then whats in there heart. But many cutters dont dress the way people say is 'emo'.
Another Group of emo is the chronicly numb emo.. usually the way the word is termed for the group, is a semi-goth, or those that are socially quiet... These emo's deal with a pain, or experiance theyve had, by dressing, and acting emotionless around anyone besides there friends.
And theres the preppy, and somtimes 'insane' emo.. these are just people who are random, and dress darkly. Whatever emotion they have, they express by dressing that way, and acting that way.. And that is ANY emotion. Even happiness.
And those groups i just said, are making up most of the world.. and yet everyone is making fun of the word and group 'emo' by connecting it with a crying kid whos locking himself in his room, and having depression issues.. and even them have a problem that need more help then the hate..
Anyway, im just saying that videos that make fun of emo's really are'nt true.

I prevailed...most of emo's are posers...but those that had some tragedy happen...I was there...waay deep....and there's nothing..and I mean NOTHING that could persuade me that Emo culture is good or whatever...If I could do it...than you should couse your plaguing the world with unnecesary sorrow.... I was NEVER AN EMO.....EMO's Are fakes...that's it... Awesome movie Dude...The song reminded me of everything...so I had to spil my guts here...Hope some1 out there get's what I am trying to say...Wake up Emo's...it ain't that bad...trust me...
First of all, nice animation, and I really liked the song. Second, I'm into the emo style, I don't dress in black punk clothes to make the world more sorrowful, I do it to seperate myself from the sorrow. I look around at the lies that people envolope themselves in and think, "Hey, I don't want to do that." I am not a sad person, I am acctually a very happy person, I just don't want to be pulled into a crowd of people who hold different ideals and morals than me. That said, I think the idiots you see cutting themselves and acting like jackasses at the mall are a shame to my individual style. They claim emo, because they say no one excepts them. No one, including me, excepts them because they do not know how to behave themselves. Idiots.

But while im here may aswell explain i was born with bad eyesight,my life was just my room,i was ridiculed by kids in my school,beat up,told if i ran out of school crying once more my mother would goto jail,and i came kinda close to attempted suicide

if a kid as sensative as me can go through ALL that (and more which i dont wanna explain) and come out as a rocker,but not emo...
most kids/teens can...
but yeah some rare cases are honestly allowed to be said as "wow..."...

i liked this vid unlike the others who just use emoes as a way of entertainment this actually showed that emoes can have friends too. im not a big fan of simple plan but the vid wass really good. thanks for making a vid where its not just another emo bashing disaster i cant stand that. its not that im emo, its just sad to watch others treat them so cruel

For people that want to know-technically emo is a style of music that turned into a fad...based around an alternative rock version of gothic style. Emos as they are labeled by others are known for inflicting self harm on themselves and wishing to kill themselves. But its just a style-therefore you dont have to do such things but you can not go around telling people your emo. I know because i was one-but shortly turned scene...its a stretch
