I remade my original tutorial 'cos it was far too short and simple...and music kinda screwed up (Stream .05 times my ass) so I made up for it, a much bigger tutorial!
I made the backgrounds myself using photoshop. Some codes came from the great actionscript.org itself!

that was a very nice tutorial based on Media Player. it had some pretty basic and simple pointers in this one, but all of them were very informative and i definitely know many people will benefit more this as i don't know anyone who doesn't use Media Player on their PC's.

I especially liked the music 8). I gotta admit I wouldn't have recommend it for a tutorial flash, but I'm glad something of mine was used in a successful submission. The problem with this flash is some parts are hard to read. Perhaps if you used outlined text, shadow effects or create boxes for your "next" and "back" button, etc., it would have made it easier on the eyes.
Thats it though, its a good tutorial. One of these days I'm gonna learn this "flash" nonsense and its because of movies like this, I might actually get good at it! -HybrisHybrid
Thanks, and alot of people complained about the text, I just wanted my background to be as recognisable as possible. I didn't spend 10 minutes on it for nothing you know. Anyway, I should've ask for permission to use the music first but it did seem kinda pointless. Thanks anyway hybris h.. I may use your music again some day.

Good tut, I think you covered alot of interesting aspects of a media player. You could improve by sticking to the sma elayout through tutorial sections. I mainly reviewed this becouse I know what its like to have a sucky review standing out for ages.

This is just a lot of hide/show movieclips and play/stop commands. Nothing new, nothing fancy, nothing anybody with ok actionscript knowledge couldn't figure out them self.
You are just alot of stupid/act intelligent assholes put together in one do/don't being. Tutorials are nothing new, attempted fancy, normal stuff but just summarised so they don't have to waste time figuring it out on themselves. Look at any other tutorial, you'll see they're just pages worth of fancy tweens and input information. Before you go boning you're sister again whilst making another review, consider the other kinds of animations related with the reviewee's.

I-I'm sorry, get pro? What, like code games? Dude...I don't even know exactly how hitTests work. Sorry but tutorials all the way...until I get suitable sound effects for my animations...Thanks though.
