Weird..
I don't really know what people find so engaging about the characters...and if you think it's got "art ready for television" or whatever it was, then you should stop with the shrooms before you get permanent brain damage.
Aside from that it was clean, kinda goofy and fun, and I felt a pang of empathy when he ruthlessly shaved Fred off his face. Then I realized that when his beard grows back......well whaddya know.
You should make one about Fred's younger, evil twin....Frank the Soul Patch.

Totally funny and a little out there, you were able to take a bizzare song and match it with an even more bizzare flash short. I thought you were able to create one of the best characters i can recall in recent times with fred the beard, you gave him a personality that capitalized on the songs lyrics. The characters were very well drawn and gave me the feel of something that i could watch on television. One thing you must do now is bring back the character, you don't need a new song to do so, i see a lot of potential with a straight up comedy skit.
