UPDATE: Tried to get in some better sounds...
So this is actually my first full Flash movie (although, it's still pretty short...)
It is the midterm project for my Multimedia 170 class. This little movie is supposed to be about the battle between light and dark. The background being a sunset is supposed to represent the struggle between light and dark as both sides must come to share the sky and the world.
Nice job.
Okay, so the plot was fairly dull. I've heard this 'battle betwixt light and dark' so many times now it's ridiculous. But, this telling of a familiar story was very fun to watch. The graphics were good for the most part, but the stick men really hurt the production values. If you could manage to put in some real, beautiful artwork to go along with the story, it would be fantastic. I truly loved the music; it was sharp, fitting, and just rocking! I've never heard of that group you mention and I'd love to know more about them if possible. Either way, I enjoyed this piece to a great extent, and feel that with some more art it could have knocked 'em out of the park. As is, it's still fun and worthy, just not spectacular.

Thanks for the honest review. I was really pushed for time since this was a class assignment, so I wasn't able to put everything I wanted. I was thinking the exact same thing about what you said about the stickmen and production values. And as for the band, they have a myspace and stuff. myspace.com/dredg, I think. They have better songs than what's on their page, though, so you might want to just try downloading some songs from somewhere.
It's got it's flaws.
The ground and the black stick man blended in together, and it was fairly short.
Still it looked good though.
Reminds me of DragonballZ.
It looks nice.

for a first flash this is really good, like you said its a bit short, but good scenery although the animation was slightly choppy, good job 4/5
