UPDATE 2: WOOT!!! Front page! Thx everyone. I'm truly inspired to work on a sequel now ;)

UPDATE 1: I think I fixed the bug where you throw the boomerang and get stuck, and also the semi-bug where link doesn't animate while throwing the boomerang.

*** I fixed some of the bugs of the previous version and felt that this game needed a fresh start, so I'm reposting it. I've added in a boomerang that functions to freeze enemies and tweaked the difficulty a bit, so it's been pushed from v1.1 to v1.2 ***

CONTROLS:
Arrow Keys: Move Link/Select Menu Items
Z: Swing Net
X: Throw Boomerang
Enter: Confirm Menu Selections

TIPS:
1. Keep fairies around until the end if you are full on health to be able to use them later if you need them. Be careful though! They will disappear once the last enemy has been defeated.
2. The lightnings will be shocking 90% of the time, but you have an ability that will stop them from doing so...
3. Experiment with the upgrades to find out which ones you like the best. Spin recharge will determine the rate at which you can throw your boomerang too.
4. Take out the Masters ASAP. If you let them accumulate, there will be a lot of fireballs in very short time.

"Interesting take on a Zelda game"

date: July 28, 2009

During my time on NG, I have seen a few types of Zelda games, but none like this one. This is defiantly unique to all those that I have seen, I especially like the fact that you can win prizes and upgrade your stats (making it like Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link) and I like the fact you used the graveyard and many over things from Zelda: A Link to the Past. The game works pretty well, but play it long enough and you will get bored, but you did a good job.

It kept my interest for a LONG time.

A little too long, maybe.
