"Nice first effort."

I always like to find an author who's on their first flash, mostly 'cause I gave up learning flash ages ago. You are pretty decent. Yeah, your stick guy looked awful, but I can't draw either so I'll cut you some slack, and besides, the various traps you had designed looked pretty good, and you even managed to include a background that didn't obscure any of the action! Good job on that. The gameplay itself was simple and quite good, but I do have one major complaint. I realize you stated that the character's hit zone was a red square, but sometimes objects could pass through my chest at that square and other times I would get banged out because of a hit on my arm or leg. If that was worked out it would make this game topnotch in my book. As it stands, a great firs effort, but I'd much rather see you do a remake with some improved work on it.
Also, what was the awesome music you used? It sounded like you stole it from an old SNES game or something. :)
Author's Response:
The music was from a computer game called Imperishable Night. And yes, the hit collision is a bit glitchy. I'll see if I can figure out a solution to that problem.
