It was interesting. But there were a lot of problems in my opinion. The arrows didn't really give you enough time to recognize what direction you needed to hit unless you gave it 100% of your attention. This also takes away from the action video aspect of the game since you cant watch the fighting and the arrows you need to hit.
I recommend doing like Patapon for a game like this. You have the rhythm part in a moment when nothing is going on in the game, then the arrows stop and the fighting ensues until it's time for more notes.
A longer bar for the arrows to follow would help too. Basically just thinner and slightly slower would work.
Also, while the music was pretty cool, the notes didn't exactly match up with the arrows. When the music is rocking I want to tap along to it. I'm not saying you need more arrows or anything. Just better timed ones.
