"was extreamy fusterating"

date: November 3, 2009

it is a nice concept exept when you get to the part that it is willing to send all the toughest units it is supposed to generate durring the course of the level at the same time. at what point are we supposed to enjoy a game that is willing to mob you that early on before you can even purchase the upgrades to even come close to handle it?

my biggest frusteration was in level 4 when it decided the first time to send 2 tanks and 6 infintry at the same time. the second time it sent 5 tanks at the least few seconds. the third time it sent them all at the begining. the fourth time it spaced them throught the level

my opinion - don't let enemy generation be totally random. give it a confines so it isn't just randomly impossible x number of times until we get a wave setup that is possible to defeat.

Great game. well thought through. As a tyrian fan i have to say this game reminds me a lot of that old retro space shooter. The obvious difference being that in this game the player is stationary. In any case this game has it all! However the main reason i wanted to post a review was because of the guy who gave you a '0.' Well most of his criticism has no grounds or is just a case of opinion. I assume he is some guy who has a personal thing against you or something. If u happen to read this review, ignore that guys flame, and enjoy the game! hope i bring ur average up a bit dude!

Just like you meant it to be,as always. HARD AS HELL,but fun! Some people dont know how you style your games (see 0 rate below) and fail to play them and learn that this is exactly what it is meant to be.

"The review space is not a place for you to act like a total asshole. "
How about you let me decide how I want to review the game. Thanks.

The game starts out great, but like practically every other defense-style game in existance, the author just plies on more and more pointless enemies in random waves that eventually results in the biggest failure, ego-fluff, circle-jerk; the ever-apparent lack of balance. After wave 24 in the story/scenario mode, winning becomes more luck than actual strategy.

Even with a full reactor, nearly full shields, and nearly full attack, it is only by pure luck you'll continue winning. You won't have enough energy to use the weapons you need to, the author apparently decided to pull a random number out of an orifice when it came to your max number of mines (which happen to not be saved, thus every time you restart a level, you have to re-lay the mines. It gets fucking irritating after the 50th time), and what the fuck is with the turret tracking? If I just point and shoot, it tracks instantly with the mouse. The moment I try and lay down a blanket of fire, suddenly the gun grows a fat ass and drags tit after the mouse, resulting in firepower not being where you want it, let alone need it.
The quad-barrel concept is wasted since enemies rarely are 90' or 180' degrees from eachother; it would have been much, much, MUCH better had the four barrels been in parallel, amplifying your offense for the cost, instead of just squirting off shots into nearly random directions.

So, good try DZ2001; but the game fails at being truly unique.
