Breakout: Transfer

Arrow keys to move your paddle.
The game is simple. You have your paddle the computer has theirs. You hit the ball to break your colored blocks. (blue) Sounds simple right?
WRONG
There's a twist. Everyone of you blocks that gets destroyed adds one to the computers blocks and vise versa. You TRANSFER the blocks over. If the computers blocks get bellow the line you WIN! if your go below the line you LOOSE.
The more blocks you break the higher the score but the harder it is to play. It's a very high speed action game made from the old boring classic.
Btw don't miss the paddle or you get extra blocks added.

neat idea but

not really happy with it, first of all I kind of expected a combination pong and breakout with the opponent being on the other side of the bricks, I like the way you did it better than that idea so it's cool, but needs a much larger play space and two seperate balls as someone else mentioned, also a two player mode.
in case you never noticed in most of these bounce the ball against your paddle kind of games the angle of the ball is drastically affected by what part of the paddle it hits with the edges being really sharp angles and the dead center sending it strait up.
without that you can't aim or strategize but just basically catch the ball over and over again.

I liked the idea...

But I started play and it lasted about 20 seconds; I barely moved my paddle at all! It seems a bit too fast, or squashed. A bigger screen or smaller blocks might improve it, I think. Also, I don't really like the cross-over ball - I thought there would be a ball each.

preety fun

this is a good twist on a classic game and its preety addicting great game

very good

its a good start more control on the ball put items in there and it will be better

Not bad

I really like the concept! It could be a potentially good game but i feel it's lacking a good foundation. For example it's extremely difficult / impossible to control where you want the ball to bounce to... therefore the chance of you actually aiming the ball to hit your blocks to add to the computer's blocks are extremely slim. This game is more about luck and in this type of game it makes it not very interesting.

What I'm trying to say is give the player more control / aim for the ball! The concept is great but lacking a good game play!

Over-Kill responds:

Thanks! I'm still at a lack for how to give more control.
