AWESOME!

I believe you have made a really enjoyable RPG. The background images were of great quality, the battles are of top quality as well.
THANK GOD! You made a "run" button if you want to escape form battles. A lot of RPG's forget this command. A nice to the game is the sound. Its glad too see that a Game maker knows the environment i.e. The softer tone of sound while in buildings.

The only draw back in the game I found, is that my main character movement is not very lucid. This results in a sluggish movement when walking accidentally bumping into a object or wall, which often happens.
Also you can consider changing the appearance of the HP and MP stats while battling. Rather than making the appearance look like an "After-thought".

AWESOME GAME THOUGH! The quality of the graphics is very impressive considering this a flash game, with the added plus of interesting story line.

THANKS! ^^

stuck in the very beginning

it's sad to admit, but I'm already stuck with the key lost in the graveyard, maybe due to low quality. it would really help if puzzle elements were done like mazes / mini games and not like "looking for a single pixel on the screen" tasks

The key isn't found in the graveyard btw. It is located in the west side of town, between the red and the green house. It can only be found at night and it looks like a sparkle in the snow.

I got to get the grease anyhelp will be greatful thank you... n sorry to say but the key was easy as could be this thing is difficult since didn't get the cash at beginning if that's what needed... lol thanks also the worm helps to kill the bosses... ya that's right found that lil cheat :P so will be easy for me

SnailsAnimation responds:

Hi! The cabin isn't the abandoned house :) The cabin is the place where you entered the mine from. Look carefully and in there and you will find the grease.
Have fun!

It makes me angry

Such great game should be like in the top 50, but I didn't know this existed till today.
It's really good, though you should have something like a "help" section in the menu or a tutorial on how to fight, because it's pretty hard till you get used to it.

also It would be perfect if the battles were less repetitive.

Other than that it's perfect. This game have that feeling of the good old SNES RPG's, can't wait for the next chapters.
