It was a 1 week project that I did for a friend in my spare time. I know it's not quite the polished animation that my more recent submissions are, and that I could have put much more effort into it, but you don't have to destroy my review score with a 2 just because I cut some corners.

There are much worse animations that make it onto the portal; save your two's for those.

Well, at least I'm glad you like the animation. For the animations I've submitted so far, the focus has been on the animation, and not neccessarily the audio. They have just been little tunes I found in the audio portal that I found particularly fitting.

But I am currently working on an animation where the primary focus is the audio, and it should be done sometime around the end of the summer. So check back as I will be writing updates on my new improved profile as to how that animation is going. I'm sure you will like it if you like these little simple things I've done so far.

Well thank you. I've never had anyone comment that my style is easy on the eyes. I'm glad you enjoyed my use of layers to create depth during the camera pans.

Well, I was trying to make directorial decisions to keep it simple and to the point, using camera movement as the key cinematic element to really create the exact mise-en-scene that would cause the audience to immediately understand that it was a cliche japanese style monster attack on a metropolitan area, and then be surprised by the abrupt and unexpected ending.

But, you know, you're absolutely right. Better animation would have made it better.

(Oh, and just to let you know, the period was invented as a puncuation mark hundreds of years ago.)
