Gain skills and experience as you fight to survive in a city filled to the brim with walking dead. Project Validus: Survival is a zombie blasting game which comes equipped with a sizeable arsenal of zombie owning weapons.
How long can you survive?
If the dimensions of the game are too big for your screen, increase your screen resolution.

This is my first game, I spent about 6 months learning the glorious actionscript while I made it.
Story mode is coming some time in the future.

Special thanks to Bobothehippo for his menu art and Mr Mo for sponsorship.
Enjoy!

Hmmmmmmmm......

Fine but it was to damn hard I mean I played easy and right when the zombie got close it took too long to kill it and it killed me in under 2 and a half seconds. On the other hand it was pretty good.

its okay for a demo...

Okay i'm not gonna be harsh, it is a good game, but there are a few things you should work on:

For one make it so that you hold shift and you can run faster for about 30 seconds before you become puffed, if you put this in make a bar that depletes as your run and re-pletes(not sure if that is a word) when you aren't.

Slow the zombies down a bit they are too fast, vary the speed a bit more, and make sure that if they get on you, they stop and attack, not keep running, it makes it to hard to get away, change the speed of attacking or change the level of damage taken, there was a glitch in the first round i played, i coudn't reload no matter how much I tried, if it was due to ammo running out, make the drops more frequent, i only managed to pick up 2 ammo packs in the 10 minutes I played, make it possible to buy ammo from a dealer or make it so that another option in the upgrades menu is it increases your intelligence, in which you are able to find packs easier, or it cause the zombies to drop items more frequently per each level upped. Maybe add gore effects and more music, drum and bass with fast beats and sound worrying as if the zombies are swarming would be good, it'd get you in the mood.

hope this helps, PM me if you need more ideas
