Evolve, Infect, Kill! Pandemic is a game where you get to evolve you own biological virus and wipe out mankind! Please read instructions on how to play the game! West Europe is completely able to be infected, its just hard. May be dangerous to play if you are epileptic. You get points based on number of newly infected people after a turn. For your first few turns you will not receive any points.

Wow, thanks to everyone for the awesome reviews, and thanks to NG for the Tank Award nomination! Many people have been wishing for more features. I'm happy to say I'm working on Pandemic 2 at the moment, and it's feature list is massive. The game will make this (the original) look small and shallow in comparison.

Worthy of a high rank

Not a lot of movies/games are creative enough to be designated as hall of famers. A lot suffer from being innovative on the same repetitive bullshit, and others just lack any kind of appeal aside from what most would consider good animation skill.

This game, on the other hand, is a radical approach at something new: a time-efficient, resource management puzzle. I put in about 30 attempts in over 2 hours or so, struggling to keep infection high, visibility low, and fatality extremely high.

In the beginning, I was a little critical of your calculations, as in what "evolutions" raised what statistic a certain number of points, but after figuring out the right combos, it wasn't too hard to net a score over 7200 a couple times. Seems like you need atleast a 8000 to make the high score table, though. Bastards.

Oh, good music choice, too. Nice and creepy.

Maybe next time we could get a better variation of effects? Seems like all the changes you make to your virus just upp one of three could be more impressive.

Great effort on this one, though. I can't wait for Pandemic 2.

This game is relatively simple yet challenging in the sense that you have to take measures to prevent the countries from closing their borders before you infect them all:)

Overall, quite a nice game. Please make more :)

Tips (Spoilers, to be correct :p):
Do nothing till at least day 110.
By then, you should have infected every country at least(if not every f**king person alive).
If you still haven't, continue clicking go till you have(I infected everyone by Day 115).
Now, throw all that you have into "Transmission" but remove humans only.
If you still have points, use it on:
- Immune system
- Anticoagulation
- Organ failure
- Swelling
- Weakness
- Sweating
Finally, click go until you win. :)

Very good.. but unnerving

This is one of the few games I'll actually play multiple times so right there you have an addicting (rim shot) game.

I likd the style and the music... and I loved the fact that infectivity got a boost from 'sneezing' if 'body fluids' was on. That attention to detail in game mechanics is rare. Western Europe is the fun little challenge of the game though it's heavily random.

One question though... I know that airports glow red when they have been infected, but I saw them also glow green at times. What on earth does that mean?

While killing man kind towards the end of the game, if you lookat some places and see like 3 people left, think about how much that would suck!
Your the last person in north america!
