Evolve, Infect, Kill! Pandemic is a game where you get to evolve you own biological virus and wipe out mankind! Please read instructions on how to play the game! West Europe is completely able to be infected, its just hard. May be dangerous to play if you are epileptic. You get points based on number of newly infected people after a turn. For your first few turns you will not receive any points.

Wow, thanks to everyone for the awesome reviews, and thanks to NG for the Tank Award nomination! Many people have been wishing for more features. I'm happy to say I'm working on Pandemic 2 at the moment, and it's feature list is massive. The game will make this (the original) look small and shallow in comparison.

Beat on my third try. Killed everyone, and only got 4125 points.

Too easy

I like the premise, but it was way too easy. I beat it around the 160 day mark, the first time through. The game required next to no strategy to beat, only to raise the overall score.

Future suggestions:
2. Faster transitions between the globe/stat view.
3. Change it so exp updates daily in the stat view (as opposed to having to switch globeside & back as we do now)
4. Make the map more accurately reflect Earth, by proper population, and rate of infection.

Overall not bad, has potential but needs some tweaking.

good game, but no fun when you kill everyone...
cheat time
.day 50 drop coughing
.day 50-61 save points
.day 61 lower vis. to 0
.day 65 buy everything

Very interesting the first time through

An awesome, original concept. Detailed implementation. Great music. However, it is too linear and based on randomness. To win, basically spend your first points removing fever and vomiting toggles, and then max out infectivity. Once you infect all zones of the map, you should have enough points to max out the lethality right away, and then just click on. Still, I absolutely love the concept.

Btw, the music, I swear its from Master of Orion II. I gotta bust out my CD later, see if I'm right.

Very good.. but unnerving

This is one of the few games I'll actually play multiple times so right there you have an addicting (rim shot) game.

I likd the style and the music... and I loved the fact that infectivity got a boost from 'sneezing' if 'body fluids' was on. That attention to detail in game mechanics is rare. Western Europe is the fun little challenge of the game though it's heavily random.

One question though... I know that airports glow red when they have been infected, but I saw them also glow green at times. What on earth does that mean?
