A strange, silent little girl turns up out of nowhere on a stormy day with only a name tag to identify her. Luckily, a kindly older couple takes her in, but for Ida and the people of Catterwall, this is where the luck ends. It seems everywhere Ida goes, misfortune is soon to follow. And it's about to get much worse.
Part 1 of 2.

Well done, as always.
Bursting with atmosphere and your unique style. Well-paced and well-directed. Personally, I can't wait for the next installment.
Your work keeps getting better and better. The only -- the ONLY point I would raise about this one has to do with the sound: the narrator, though he does as excellent a job here as he did in The Little Girl Who Was Forgotten By Absolutely Everyone (Even The Postman), sounds like he's narrating on the phone overseas. Very quiet, with no treble or bass to speak of. All mid-ranges. This, however, is a minor point that does not detract from the overall quality of the short. 9 of 10.

Never before have I seen such a beautiful and chilling story. It really leaves you on a note of suspense. I can truly see this being a classic. This is going straight on my favorites. I await the next chapter to unfold.
