pretty good
As a huge Macross fan myself I have to say that was pretty good. I liked your use of the movies music and sound effects. While the voices were OK I noticed that they mispronounced some words, but that pretty forgivable.
The visuals while the artwork was pretty good I don't think that they moved as well as they could have. But still a good job.
Oh and there are several sequels to Macross - the unofficial sequel 6 part OVA Macross 2, the music video Macross 2012, the TV series Macross 7, the 4 part OVA Macross Plus, the 4 part OVA Macross 7 Dynamite, and the most recent the 5 part OVA Marcross Zero. All of theses are really good and you should check them out if you haven't already.
Glad you liked it. I know all about Macross' recent history, with all the OVA's and stuff, and I also know about the 25th anniversary coming up. Hope an announcement for a new series comes!!
How the hell do you pronounce Muh-kross anyway? :P

Not a bad piece of work.
The mecha was nicely done, the people were okay when they weren't moving. The voice acting was more than passable, with only two voices being any sort of annoying. Small discrepancy over how different people pronounce Macross, but that's to be expected. Nice usage of classic music and SFX for that whole Macross feel. Wasn't quite sure what to think at first when there were voice clips from the original Breetai, and then new English acting, but it wasn't a problem. Nice job.
I was afraid too that the transition would be jarring when I used the original Britai's voice and then it segues into my voice track, but in the end it wasn't bad. Limited animation is all I can achieve at the moment...

well i guess this has to be for macross fans because i was soooo freakin bored watching this ... (i hate macross so much)
really..
brain function...slowing...downnnnn. .............
but anyway.. you did a great job animating and i respect the style (from what i saw).. very nice and clean.
i gave you a 7 just cause i felt like there could have been more to it. just something was missing.. but hey.. it's more than what i can do at this point.
At least, despite hating the source material, you still gave the flash a fair review. Thanks.

Lets see...
The graphics were really good and had a greats details but this anime thing, ets, airplanes that transform into robots is just not original. Maybe if you have used ur talent to creat something really new, it would make my eyes shine and roll but this one didnt. Well maybe its just me. Keep working.
Here's to a guy who found Lesboformers was a classic.
I don't know whether I should take this seriously.
