The somewhat vague revelations of a confused video blogger.
I have no explanation for this movie. Enjoy!
In comparison to a short flash, a short review
As stated above, this review will be shorter, because there's less material to discuss.
I loved the graphics, because, not only did the nice style fir nicely, but you did, like, no tweens, but rather animated several frames in between (or, at least, I think you did). This makes the work look more professional. Of course, the downside of this is that you have to work with a higher frame rate in order not to make his actions choppy. Now, I'm not sure what frame rate you were working with, but his actions looked slower than a human would do them, slightly.
It's kind of hard to describe what I mean, but if you get it, try speeding up his actions, just slightly.
Now, the beginning was funny because, though I have no idea if you intended it, it reminded me of the blair witch project.
And, naturally, the thing that made me enjoy this flash, as well as the majority of your flashes, was the way you satirize pop culture. I hate most bloggers, because, as the flash showed, it's far to bland. I am someone... who...uh...did....something.
Anyway, there were spots of ingenuity in this flash and spots of some fairly dim things.
Nice, clever aspects were things like nearly flawlessly curving of the corners of the flash so that it looked genuinely "webcam."
Now, the shoddier bits of the flash that irritated me.
1) The background blur was a nice effect that went overboard. It became annoying and sort of drew your eyes away from the guy, especially since he was slightly centered to the right.
2) This entire question bugged me as I watched the flash. Was he sitting down, or standing? There was no chair behind him, and yet, the background gave the impression he was sitting. Maybe he was a midget.
3) and, lastly, the mouth symbols changed much too fast. Not much to say, that happens in a lot of animations. I don't know how synchronizing works that well, so maybe it would be impossible, but they flicker by so fast, just like in TooF, or, ummm..., TooF. It happens in others, I'm sure, but I can't think of them right now.
Overall- 9.4. As always, I grade based on the time and vastness the author tried for in the project. This was a particularly good short, so I'm grading as a short. Many reviewers seem to grade al flashes on the same scale.
P.S. Oh yeah, remember what I said at the top? Scratch that.
Yeah, I should say, that's a pretty lengthy review.
And thanks for the criticism.
Hey! Somebody actually got the Blair Witch reference.
Anyway, thanks for enjoying it for what it was! So many other people complaining about length. =/
this is the funiest stuff i have seen today
Very well made creation and pretty funny. The guy just ranting about "stuff". Heh.
Euhm. Ignoring the last review... Awesome! I love your style. Love your bi-polar character... Or maybe just contradictional problems. But love it. Nice animation. Good voice actor.
Well, the final made me laugh, but it could be longer.
It's called a "cartoon short" for a reason.
