Ok, since the last time I saw your animations you've become really good. Your skills are going up everytime you make a new movie, so keep animating. I'll have to say though, some of the graphics looked really corny. Like in star haven, the stars in the background looked really sloppy, so try making it match the sprites next time, same with the clouds. Also, try making custom punch animations of mario and such, because it looks like mario is trying to attack bowser with the side of his body. And add punch sound effects too to juice it up.

"All right, you used my music, you get a review."

Well, it's a good sprite movie, but not without its flaws.

Graphics: Sprites are hardly original, but they always look good. However, the star haven background looked quite bad, you could have spent a bit more time searching for a VG-style night sky to use, it shouldn't be very hard to find. Also, I wan't a fan of the use of tweening the characters instead of using a black rectangle and tweening where the mouth is, like other sprite animators will use.

Style: Sprite movies all kind of have the same style. Some sprite animators do something exceptional or unique to give it more of a personal flavor. You didn't do much of that.

Sound: Your use of music is very good. I liked the songs you used (such as mine ;P), although some seemed to cut off too shortly. Also, some of the voice acting (like Bowser or one of his cronies) sounded bad. I would also suggest more sound effects. They'll add much more effect into your fight scenes.

Violence: There's fighting, but not much blood or graphic violence.

Interactivity: Not really, unless you count the preloader.

Humor: None. This wasn't a comedy.

Overall: 7. I have nothing against sprite movies, in fact, I enjoy them, but only good can come of giving your sprites and animation a nice personal touch. Oh, and thanks a lot for using my music.

"It was ok"

Now for an honest review... I think it was good, but when the characters spoke It was a bit weird, I think it would be better to use lip syncing instead of tweening. The voices could have also been better, and the yellow dots everywhere don't really fit in with a sprite movie imo. I thought it had a good story and most of it was animated well, so I will wait for the conclusion :).

"Ok work....."

date: January 5, 2007

I like the idea of it all but, the equipment you are useing mainly the Mic needs to be upgraded or perhaps download a program that will cancel out the static noise when you speak into a mic from the air from your mouth. Also the Bowser voice actor.... not such a good choise. Also the part where he travles up the stars you could have used White paint and made them alittle smaller. But good job and keep up the good work.
