"Your tips, sir, as requested"

First off, I like the game. I had fun playing it, but I noticed a few things that I thought could be improved. You asked for lots of tips, so here they are:
(Ok, now I'm not a flash artist, so I have no idea how to actually implement any of the suggestions I'm about to make. Take my suggestions with the grain of salt they deserve.)
I learned pretty early on that the most efficient thing to do was just to hold down space and mow down the little green dudes. I dunno, maybe if you could run out of fire if you use it too much and then have to wait for it to recharge, that might help. Or maybe if there were different kinds of fire, say a saturated spread vs. a concentrated beam.
Speaking of the little green dudes, I would have enjoyed a greater variety of enemies, or maybe some obstacles to fly around. As it was, the only time I took damage was when I swooped over to snag an enemy and got there a hair too late.
I really dug the music. I don't really have any tips on that, it was awesome the way it was. Just wanted to say kudos. Kudos.
Lastly, it would have been awesome if there were more levels. I dunno, maybe there could be a boss at the end of the lake, like whatever's sending out all those little green dudes (A big green dude maybe?)
You said you made this a while ago, so I don't know if you were planning on making another version. If you do, I look foreword to playing it.
