All Cordyceps species are parasitic, mainly on insects and other arthropods (they are thus entomopathogenic fungi); a few are parasitic on other fungi like the subterranean, truffle-like Elaphomyces. The mycelium invades and eventually replaces the host tissue, while the elongated fruiting body (stroma) may be cylindrical, branched, or of very complex shape. The stroma contains many flask-shaped perithecia (sing. perithecium): hollow, flask-shaped structures usually embedded in the stromatic tissue that contain many long, cilindric asci.

I just watched a vid on youtube about this...
honestly my head was itchy and scared the crap out of my watching this...
I saw this really happen on the youtube vid to the ants and other insects...how scary is this god...
AHHHH sooo well done...def front page1 and I love how you made the authors comments...hehe I thought this was gonna be a rip off of youtube cause its the same clip image...but you defiantely made tihs awsome!

Magnificently Constructed
Are you an Art Student? I swear to god, that was one of the most artistically provocative pieces of art I've ever set my eyes upon. Great music that captures the awkward randomness that you put into this piece. I'm honestly in awe, still. I earnestly urge you to continue this line of work, you're really very good at it.

It was great! I love Aphex Twin and how this flash rhymed with this song and is full of randomness. though I never heard that song before but I loved it. The only thing I really didn't like is the flashing. No one liked a lot of flashing. It can trigger epileptic people seizures. Aside from that it pwned. I 5'ed it and hope it gets front paged
