Gift of Ages is an animation I made in about a week and a half for my church's Christmas program.

Ah, there's so much to say about this one, but I somehow feel that explaining it will make it weaker. I should hope that the piece is strong enough to stand on its own without my having to prop it up with words.

And so for some of you I might have ruined Christmas. But to everyone else, I hope you've enjoyed this presentation and that it brings new meaning to the secular symbols we see annually.

Programs used: Flash 8, openCanvas, 3D Studio Max, and Sound Forge. All 3D work was done by my brother Brian (thanks!), and the music is Chopin's Etude in E major Op.10 No.3, as heard in the OST for Fullmetal Alchemist.

Amazing

~review~

Where to start. That was a nice way to look at beliefs. The graphics went along with the flash so well. The paper cutout look to it was some of the best graphics ever. The only complaint i could have about this flash is that in some parts animation was next to non-existent. Another on the up-side the camera angles were some of the best.

~good points~

Amazing graphics
interesting point of view
good camera angles

~things to improve on~

Pick a more suiting song
Some animation was lacking.

Wow

Not much one can really say about this that will do it justice... I'm not one for religious symbolism or such. However the artwork and message this carried is certainly worthy of every praise possible.
