Gift of Ages is an animation I made in about a week and a half for my church's Christmas program.

Ah, there's so much to say about this one, but I somehow feel that explaining it will make it weaker. I should hope that the piece is strong enough to stand on its own without my having to prop it up with words.

And so for some of you I might have ruined Christmas. But to everyone else, I hope you've enjoyed this presentation and that it brings new meaning to the secular symbols we see annually.

Programs used: Flash 8, openCanvas, 3D Studio Max, and Sound Forge. All 3D work was done by my brother Brian (thanks!), and the music is Chopin's Etude in E major Op.10 No.3, as heard in the OST for Fullmetal Alchemist.

yes lytzhadow you are right

mostly about the fact that christian religion did "steal" a lot of ideas from other religions and cultures to do just that, but this flash i think deserves at least a whole 9 "beacuase" (axeman13) the entire idea behind this flash is original and very good.

P.S. "Dot Dot Dot" is a hilarious flash and will explain "beacuase"

Merry Christmas!

Putting the religious aspect aside, it was a simple, beautiful animation. You did an excellent job with music selection, and the moose made me smile.

With the religous aspect, it nearly brought tears to my eyes. Very well done.
