Gift of Ages is an animation I made in about a week and a half for my church's Christmas program.

Ah, there's so much to say about this one, but I somehow feel that explaining it will make it weaker. I should hope that the piece is strong enough to stand on its own without my having to prop it up with words.

And so for some of you I might have ruined Christmas. But to everyone else, I hope you've enjoyed this presentation and that it brings new meaning to the secular symbols we see annually.

Programs used: Flash 8, openCanvas, 3D Studio Max, and Sound Forge. All 3D work was done by my brother Brian (thanks!), and the music is Chopin's Etude in E major Op.10 No.3, as heard in the OST for Fullmetal Alchemist.

Now that is something special

It's been a while since I have put a review up, but I just wanted to say you have done a very wonderful thing here. Stylistically, not everyone will appreciate the form, but it works very nicely for this piece and I strongly compliment the conviction it shows to keep in this style. Along with that you have a very nice level on the sound and there isnt a hitch in the animation at all. All compliments to your abilities.

Overall, message aside a very nice flash, but with the message, a breath taking one. Very nice work.

Anyone who voted less than 5 should have their account deleted. John Su, you are the best artist on ng! I kind of missed you're frame-by-frame animations, but for a week and a half, that was phenomenal!
