Its been a long time since I last submitted. This is a semi-autobiographical story based on some of my boyhood memories. I used Toon Boom and Flash. Background bitmaps were painted in Photoshop.

"Lovely and thoughtful"
I felt this really gave a nice insight into life and it's pleasures. I grew up on a country farm, so knowing the simple things in life is something I share with this flash - having moved to the city, it's easy to forget where morals lie and how true friendships are formed and that not everything is about stress, or getting it right. This flash was a nice reminder of how to relax and laugh through life - just as we should.

I really like your flashes so far they've been great. I like this one b/c it just reminds me of old folks telling their tells. The animation is good too.

"i have always liked this movie."
It a nice, touching, and definatly short story with plenty of joke and nice details like the non union sing, mason symbol on the grave and the dob and dod on april 1. Really enjotable. And most of all funny.
wittyhobos comment about the charecters looking like they smell bad really makes no sense to me though.
