Some random awards presenter :P
Think ive found the problem...
ok, so I made an account on newgrounds just so I could write this review. Seems like a neat game... if i could play it. I'm having the same problems as some other people had too (i read all the other reviews). I can't use, or combine or examine items, but I think I've figured out your problem possibly. I'm a sixteen year-old kid, so I could be way off and like you thought it could be a problem with not having the latest flash or so on, but I think its because I have a one button mouse. No left and right buttons. Another person who was having problems said he was on a Mac OS, which is what im on as well. I simply think this is a two-button game. Maybe a possible option in the menu or inventory taht can change that in a later or updated version. Hope this helps. Happy Holidays everyone.
The game's not supposed to run with the right button anyway :S Unless it's the player, I really have no clue why the game should be bugging like this.
This was... Strange... I really loved Mad Vlad, and I was happy to find this game yesterday. It was interesting, but the ending was a big let down. When I found the secrets documents, the Union leader told me to turn myself in. but the police still arrested me when I walked up to them... Also, when you look at the documents, it says "something feels wrong," and "it looks a little rushed." Was that a joke on the not-so-rectangularness of the page drawing? It sort of led me to believe that there was more to it than that. Then I went and found all the legendary items, and I get a certificate that says I found all the game's secrets...
I have to say I was disappointed... I think you should have a movie at the end that explains why the bad guy blew up that factory or whatever it was, and maybe show him getting carted off to elf jail...
Anyway, unless I'm missing something, the ending was the only thing I thought was wrong with this game. The graphics were all beautiful, (except for the scribbly ones in the beginning.) The music was well chosen... The environments were all well done... This and your other Vampire game are some of the best games that I've found on Newgrounds, so keep 'em coming...
Errm... tjr game doesn't actually end with you finding the documents :P You do actually need to hand them in.
Look closer at the 'Game Over' screen.
I can't believe this
I can't seem to use examine or combine my items. help
I have no idea why that's happening. It's probably one of those silly Mac bugs. Really, I had no way of knowing that would ever happen, and I'm clueless as to how to fix it. Sorry :(
I got to say it was a very simple game but I loved playing it. For the one reason why I pick up my old games and play them over and over again. Because they have a really good story. This game has that and more. Easy to understand and do. My first time thru I found one legendary item and had some trouble with handing over the papers but I think we all did.
This is really a great game as I must try to find those last two items and see what happens.
Also I expected a twist at the end but it certainly was not who I thought it would be and no one else will proably guess it unless its a joke. This game is denfintly worth a five easily.
Wow, really glad you liked it :D Have a great Christmas!
