The slow pace of this is because this flash is intentional. And this can demand a lot of the viewer. So let that be a warning.
Confused by the ending? There is more to be said. Which never was.

"it was beautiful"

a white rose is symbolic for honor and reverence as well as innocence, so for the enemy soldier give an american soldier that bottle shows his compassion and his loyalty to a lost code of warriorship. then the general puts the enemy man to death when the man has no defense or even agression which is (understatingly) dishonorable. then, in london, a man who seems to be of high status tells a transient the wrong time intentionally. looking at the title and then the piece itself, i would say that is about the perfection of brotherhood or perhaps better put kinship that the world once had. the same equality that the fathers of the united states dreamed of but that was lost along the way. you definitely have a powerful voice which i greatly admire. keep it up!

p.s. i just now read what you said below, and i incourage you to definitely continue this story! i'd love to see where it is taken

Author's Response:

The narrative is as follows, :

An american solder walks through a dirty road in iraq, he is shot down by an iraqi sniper. Who then gives the soldier the last of his liquor sending him to his grave. The sniper runs away across the harsh terrainand eventually falls, we see a servered white head in the background.
A while later the sniper is on the move again and apparantly lost, he is captured by two new american soldiers who look exactly the same as the former he murdered.
He stands wth his head down and the general flies down and kicks him in the face. We see him on the floor.
The film then cuts to the london underground when a begger asks a passing man the time of the day. He replies (cant remember the time).
He the n eventually ventures out into london and we see the bigben which shows the wrong time he gave to the begger,

The story would have followed these characters further and tied all of them up together but due to the fact I ran out of MB on this site it (it was only five back then) it didnt go past the above .

Also the obvious problems people had with this like making the actual thing out meant I never felt motivated to make part 2 & 3 ect.
It was designed as a pseudo documentary in animated form explaining the slow movements either way this did have a long multi layered story behind it and wasnt intended to be a dul anti war film.

I realise you probably havent read/care what I have wrote but this can be used as an FAQ for anyone else who stumbles on this godforsaken page.

Thanks for the review yo lmao

This is what I'm talkin about! Surreal, eeire and powerful leaves you wondering so many things. This kind of wanting for information and more is exactly what you want the viewer having. You want an enticed viewer and youve got one. Great job.

"Awesome!"

date: April 9, 2007

My god man you are getting better and better at flash.. You create such a surreal.. spooky.. world. It looks so.. paranoia.. You are awesome at setting the mood. It was so creepy, you inspire me alot dude.. I mean whoah! Great use of voiceacting, soundrecordings and music. Some scenes take a little too long(like where he gives the white rose drink and takes his hand back really slowly). I can see that it is to set a mood, and make it creepy and suspecting, but it could also take a little too long and bore the watcher, you see? :3
GR: 10, I loved the graphics dude.. they were awesome. Animation could be a little better here and there.. like the running part^-^
ST: 10, I love your style, its awesome. Its creepy but not horror.. its.. dont know, but its really impressive and you just cant forget your movies. Kinda like Saladfingers, but different, creepier, in a bad-trip kind of way..
SO: 9, You worked hard on this didnt you? Own recording and lots of effects, also the music, lots of editing, and with great results!
VI: 6, Not alot of blood, fighting or gore, but there is SOME violence.
IN: 2, Play and Replay included.
HU: 0, None
OV: 10, Very impressive and trippy piece, I love that.

^^Good Points^^
Neat movie, you definitely got your point across quite well. Some scenes were very strong in this, and other not so much, but overall still a neat movie. The graphics were good, nice style in the blurryness and what not. The sounds were the best, good calm music throughout.

^^Needs Improving^^
This moved too slow for me. With the long beginning and the long first Iraq scene, I got bored in the beginning.
