"now you can go ahead"
date: November 25, 2006
--- Graphics a bit messy and overly simple. Maybe try adding some shading. Experiment with no lines.
+++ Intro amused.
--- Intro dragged on a bit.
---- First level dragged on a lot. I noted that level 3 seems much faster and easier as there's so many MJs. Maybe make them move faster in L3. And maybe make the quota lower for L1.
++ Moon background was nice. I just like the moon as a setting.
---- In level 4, I killed 2 MJs, then while the plane passed by maybe 5 more times, MJ didn't appear at all. I decided there must be a bug and skipped it.
++++ Boss added variety and 'closure'.
----- Overly basic movement and game mechanics.
++++ MJ popping up after beating the machine made me chuckle.
++++ Ending made me chuckle.

Watched intro, completed level 1, skipped level 2, completed level 3, skipped level 4 after MJ stopped appearing, played remainder.
There's a lot to this game, although it's all a bit sloppy. For a first game, it's a good show, and now you can go ahead and experiment with gameflow, movement patterns etc. for a future project.
The biggest shame is that the game begins on a bland, sour note.
Considering this made me chuckle at a couple of points and had some enjoyable parts, I have high hopes for your next project.
Stay funky,
