if this gets a score of 3.00+ I will love you all.

This is a resubmission of a tutorial I submitted while the portal was being stupid, and lots of people were blamming aimlessly. Although it was not blammed it did not achieve the score I would have hoped for. I have fixed a few glitches, and deleted the previous one from my account.

Thanks, enjoy.

"Excellent"

This is the kind of tutorial I've been looking for - presentable, clean, simple, consistent, empty of all grammatical and spelling errors (except one at the end but no one cares), in-depth and most of all - it's a tutorial tutorial!

I can't believe I didn't try saving layouts as templates in the first place! Thanks for the trick. Great job on this tutorial, and make more!

Author's Response:

Haha, thanks for the review, yeah saving layouts as templates can make things a lot easier and much more simple!

"amused, but learnt"

++++ Amusing idea.

++++ I learnt something - the idea about how to highlight the buttons.

+++ Clean and precise-looking. Complementing colours.

-- No 'back' button.

-- The 'layout' and 'planning' section could have used some images. E.g. when you mention the way you organise your layers, a screenshot would help break up the monotony of text.

-- No 'mute' button.

---- Text was hard to read for me. Both because of the similar tone to the bg and also because of the font.

--- When I reached the end of the button tutorial, I wasn't sure what the 'play' button was gonna do. I thought it'd continue to do nothing. Confusing.

++ Jolly little tune that didn't get too irritating.

Expected to be amused, but learnt something instead.
