I Made a banner ad for a job placement company with the slogan "Graduate from College Debt Free". They told me to be creative so this is what I came up with.

Don't hate me.

"What?"

Why is the score for this submission so low? I thought it was good, and ok maybe it isn't a full game or anything but that doesnt mean you just click zero and move on. Actually think about what you are rating instead of just clicking either zero or five i hate people who do that. It completely ruins the whole point of having a full rating system, Otherwise there would be two buttons; either you liked it or not.

It even looks professional! I totally agree with VagrantChick. It's too bad others don't think like her.

Great job.

"Ad-awareness"

Using NGR as a sound board for professional projects is a smart idea, like conducting your own market research. Reviewers should keep that in mind when scoring. (in the long run are not other game writers hoping to make it pro someday?)

It is a cute play on the other interactive ads that are already out there. Have you placed it against a variety of backgrounds? It contrasts well to Newgrounds, but might look washed out against a white or pale background. The "graduate debt free" in the bold logo on the left is a little hard to read, but that might be caused by an aging monitor. At first, it's a little hard to tell that it is a necktie around the 'R' but now that i recognize it, it's obvious. i don't know why i am giving it a 7 as opposed to an 8. Maybe the reminder of my own college debt makes me grouchy; in which case, the nature of the ad could be appealing to others in a similar situation.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the thoughtful review. The one site I know it's gonna be places on has a pretty dark bg, so I'm not too worried about it.

I guess the point off for scary college debt reminder is acceptable.
