My first completed game. If it runs slow, click on 'options' and set the settings to low. Enjoy!
-Use forests to retreat, zombies will usually not persue if you dont shoot and retreat.
-Buying support adds a vehicle to the currently selected squad. the number isn's the cost, but how much time the vehicle will take to arrive.
-Whoever is closest to the enemy will engage them when an attack order is given.
-dont expect your men to fight a battle they cant hope to win.
-push 'M' for mission select.

2 things:
- I got to mission 5 when all my units began retreating just as the fights start
- I can't seem to initiate the "buying" process to get the vehicles

Other than that, great game. So why hasn't Microsoft pantented it? In the sequel, include a combat window displaying side orders for the troops (i.e. fight to the death, lay mines, lob grenades, slow/accurate shooting, etc.). I like the difficulty but at mission 5 I get so close but the little things, as well as the lengty retreats, always loses me the level.

Take these requests into consideration for the next game, good sir.

Oreo47 responds:

thanks for the good review. There are a few ways of going about that problem.
First, spread your men out as much as possible; this will keep your otherunits from being overrun, and second, dont engage zombies in cover unless you have to, as your men will do almost no damage to zombies in cover. third, the longer you charge, the greater melee bonus you will get. and finally, dont order heavy weapons unless you are planning to stalemate the enemy for awhile, and only order one or two vehicles at a time. Hope this helps!

THat is one of the best games I've played.
Though I agree that the auto-retreat is frusturating and you should be able to merge squads.

Everyone's favorite passtime, kill zombies.

This is problably one of the more clever game concepts i've seen on newgrounds in a while. On top of that for the next one, (if its ever even created) you could take it to such a high level it'd be insane. Of course the repetitiveness of the game would take hold eventually.

I liked how you could upgrade your groups no matter what, it was only a matter of time untill the backup arrived, i found that to be clever.
I noticed everything was hand draw and pretty well done. Everything was set up really nice, especially when you attacked a group of zombies and could see just how close they were. I had some trouble with it because i kept sending my guys into battle charging, they got owned.

I have a couple of sudgestions about the next game, like i said if you are even considering it. Give us the option of upgrading each soldier in a group, give one a hand gun, one in the back with a long range rifle, one with an automatic stuff like that. Also if you could set them up in a certain order, like guy witht he rifle in the back, hand gun guys up front kind of thing. Instead of all in a line. And they'd keep that formation even if you charge, advance, or back. But this are just sudgestions.

If i may i strongly sudgest you make another one. Because i really want to see where you take it next.
