Hey everybody. I'm back again for my latest game, Bullet Bill 2.

*Edit. Thanks a lot for the awards, it's my first weekly award and it mean a lot to me, yay!*

-The character codes are working now, hopefully that's the last bug dealt with.-

This took too long to make, it's 4x longer than Bullet Bill 1 and it uses mouse control (which a lot of you asked for). It also has checkpoints, multiple levels (i.e. Castle, Underground) and boss fights! Hopefully you have a decent computer so it won't lag. ^^;

If you come across any glitches in the game. please PM me so I can get it sorted.

Have fun!

Way better than the first

Using the mouse to control Bullet Bill was a great idea. The levels are designed well, and there are a LOT of levels.

So here's a password list (yes I'm one of those people you mentioned who will give every password lol)

World 1-1 password: 5J23t
World 1-2 password: 3B17Y
World 1-3 password: 7D59U
World 1-4 password: 8G43I
World 2-1 password: 3Y51P
World 2-2 password: 3S41H
World 2-3 password: 1Y63M
World 2-4 password: 9K62A
World 3-1 password: 9B48Q
World 3-2 password: 5X81H
World 3-3 password: 5G28F
World 3-4 password: 6Z39W
World 4-1 password: 4C66T
World 4-2 password: 7B93J
World 4-3 password: 2Q19Z
World 4-4 password: 5P38S
World 5-1 password: 2R92R
World 5-2 password: 2D72Y
World 5-3 password: 5Q14A
World 5-4 password: 8U13A
World 6-1 password: 5H11B
World 6-2 password: 6V81Y
World 6-3 password: 6X95T
World 6-4 password: 8G17L
World 7-1 password: 8A76B
World 7-2 password: 1V73W
World 7-3 password: 0T32P
World 7-4 password: 3F15G
World 8-1 password: 9P41Z
World 8-2 password: 2Q26N
World 8-3 password: 8A77W
*Note that these passwords are given at the END of the level specified, so the password will start you at the next level (ex. 4-1 password starts you at 4-2). This is why the passwords stop at 8-3.

Character passwords (these are in the order obtained from the game)
7H0MP (thats a zero)

There ya go! All the passwords in the game.
If you want to have a little fun, put in the password for the last character and use him...

I'd like to say that YOU RULE. I'm glad you posted the codes for people to help them, yeah, the final character is awesome. :D

Much better than the first.

The addition of new levels and mouse controls were the key. Also the way you made bullet bill move up and down were essential for getting that elusive fluid movement you needed in the first one. Much improved! Very good.

while this doesn't work for people like me who have a shitty mouse that can't get a new one at the moment, i'm not going to fault you for it. i'm sure this is a very good game otherwise.

in the future, try to enable both the option of mouse and keyboard to switch at the player's leisure. that way everyone can enjoy it.

nice job.

That was certainly one of the best games I've played on this site, and probably the best mario themed one.

The graphics were simple as they are in all 2D mario games, but by no means does that detract from it and indeed it probably makes it better. As it was my comp was lagging up by World 8 so anything more would have made it close to unplayable near the end.

A brilliant style of game that was both original and challenging. the learning curve was extremely well done, with each level posing a slightly greater challenge as you go along. The ship level in world 8 is an absolute bitch though, as was that chain chomp boss.

Sound- many of the classic mario soundtracks from a number of games. Can't exactly fault that now!

Violence- not much, but there doesn't need to be. It certainly felt good clobbering many of the classic mario enemies.

Interactivity- it's a game, and a damn good one at that. The addition of mouse controls was a big bonus, as were the checkpoints- without them it would have been damn near impossible to complete.

Humour- again there isn't a great deal, but some of the unlockable characters certainly made me chuckle. *SPOILER ALERT* the giant chain chomp was brilliant- that certainly taught all those enemies a lesson!

Down points? You've brought back some horrible memories of those hammer throwing guys- I hate them as much in this game as I did in all the original mario games. Very clever how you got them throwing the hammers directly where you want to be flying a lot of the time- by the end I was just ignoring the points and desperately trying to stay alive!

So overall a near flawless game that kept me entertained for a couple of hours and is challenging right up until the end.
5/5 and probably front page
