Hey, everyone. I've changed my online username. I am no longer JonBro, and I won't be continuing anything that was made with the JonBro name. If you want to see an archive of my older work as well as what I'm up to now, you can find out here: http://www.jonochrome.com

Riddle School 2

Phil (main character) is back to escape school again! I originally planned for this to be a simple tribute to Pico's School, but then it built up to something a lot more. I started making this about five months ago, and picked up on the project and completed it in around a week. This one is longer and has much more sophisticated graphics than the first, and a whole lot of effort was poured into this.

It was a great contrast from the first game, but it's still a little easy, and why can't you do anything in mrs. Green's room? also, the length is still just a tad short.

not as good as 3rd, but still good

not as good as the third... i comented thrid sayin that there wasnt any dificult bits that u'd av 2 be a nerd etc to figure out wich is a good thing..... but this one was like dat until u had to plug the cookie machine in... how da hell would any1 know that... its obvious u need to make it work, but clickin in that one place is very unlikely unless u read peoples coments on the game... so for that im downgradin the points... still a good game, but not as good as 3rd... lets hope the 4th is :P

Definitely better than the first one thought the item-using system is still fairly... Non-existent...

Better music/design generally though, though the vending machine solution wasn't entirely linear since you can't look behind most object in adventure games unless they're the escape-the-room type.

On the bright side the waklthrough was well written and I like the game's basic concept/atmosphere!

Good, yet almost a mirror of the first.

The game is good, don't think I'm saying its not, its just that you play the first, then the second and there is no challenge. Yeh the cookie machine bit was a bit trickier then the rest, but its basically the same. Some more variety would be good, and maybe a new setting, its meant to be a new school hes at, but unless that school can be bought ready-made in Riddle-School land, you just stuck with the same background. Good game, really smooth and user friendly, just cut some corners with the art and the actual tasks. I'd like to see some more work from you, You have potential, use it.
P.S. The music annoyed the hell outta me.

JonBro responds:

This is more or less a remake of the first. I felt as though the first needed improvement, which is why most of this is very similar to the first.

Yes, in the second one, I'm hoping to make the music either changable or mutable.

Thanks!
