Socialism, but what is this video about?
I'm not sure I understand what this is about. Is it made by an American that think that the European union is socialist, or moving towards socialism, or is it made by someone that wished that EU were socialistic or moved towards socialism?
It's not clear, and in either case you should know that socialism is in its core a very good thing. What is not good is authoritarianism, disrespect for tradition and anarchism. Socialism is none of that, but can be perverted to all of that, just like any ideology can including capitalism.
Socialism is caring. It is the recognition that society has a duty to take care of its weak, that it is better to join hands and lift in flock, then to stand alone, that education and healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and that no one should be left in the cold.
You are not a saint if you run a soup kitchen, and should not be commended, for it means that you and your fellows pay too little in tax, so that the state cannot live up to its duty to the poor.
I wish Europe were more socialistic, and I wish that you American would at least try to understand, what socialism is really about.

My opinion (not like anyone cares though)
First of all I think socialism and communism are very flawed systems of government that inevitably leads to fascism.
Secondly who the hell would be celebrating this, I mean look at the facts there are riots in the streets of Rome which ATM needs to be bailed out. Theres also Russia, look how great there doing right now. Whatever.
Lastly, I found it ironic that the 1812 overture was played which was also the main revolutionary song in the movie V for Vendetta.
I just people are going to think this is a useless review.
