"It was okay..."
Pretty funny, I guess. It was really too short, and didn't have much of a point, not to mention the title is completely misleading. Also, the artwork and animation is very poor in this. Nice preloader though. Better luck next time.
"Right..."
I don't think that was really much of anything. I was bored the entire time I watched it. And the moral was pretty pathetic. I think you can do better than this, just by having a better story. I think your actual animation skills were not that bad.
"Out of the Christmas spirit"
Right then, this pretty much went nowhere. The graphics were quite nice and I liked the old film style but they can't make up for such a slow, dull flash.
I would recommend this to: anyone on a raging sugar high and who needs calming down, a 19th century Victorian gentleman with a mustache who would be amazed by moving pictures and a sausage dog (for no particular reason).
Incidentally I got a SEGA Meadrive II for Christmas in '94. Loved Ecco The Dolphin. Not so good on PS2 though. *Sigh*
"Content does not sustain length"
If this could be considerably trimmed down it would be a decent short. At the moment it drags on without any humour... It seems odd that you've gone for a very old film style and tried to make it a quick laugh or something. To make this kind of concept funny you need to make considerable alterations to the animations.
On the plus, you managed to replicate the early 20th Century cinema-look very well, and made a good choice in music. As a whole the flash needs refining. Alot of a refining.
"omg.."
That walking took way too long. Watching it, all i could think was " 5 years later..." The animation i agree was fine but the whole story was stupid and a waste of time.
