As a kid I loved Chuckie Egg on the ZX Spectrum. Now it has been recreated in flash for your enjoyment.
i've never heard of that game... or the ZX Spectrum...., but this one was still a lot of fun to play, the challenge increased as it went along and the old 8-bit style to it was a nice twist to it too.
overall, it was a nice game, i enjoyed this one.
i never heard of it
i never heard of the game chuckie egg. i probably wasnt even born when it was made. anyway, it was pretty good for a retro game!
Ah, the memories!
I remember playing this game years ago when I was little. Shame you didnt get the music from the original. I actually have no idea what the music was like anymore, but im assuming that wasnt it.
There actually was no music at all - just beeps and bloops!
Never played the original, seems a bit like a cross between Burger time and Pac-man... without the ability to eat your enemies of course. My only beefs were that the jumping animation seemed to skip right toward the end of the jump, and it was kinda hard to get in just the right place to get off of a ladder onto a platform, or from a platform onto a ladder. Other than that, it has a great retro-feel to it.
Use the up / down keys in conjunction with left or right. Makes getting on or off of ladders a breeze.
Thought it was a great little game. A faster mode would be a nice addition
Physics platformer with time-portals. One place - two times and different level geometry.
