Uhm..
The only real redeeming quality about this game are the graphics. The gameplay is too slow, and the enemies all too easy. Not to mention, they're all the same. The powerups are too limited, and the explosions are cheesy.
This game does have a ton of potential, this attempt just wasn't really up to par. Keep on trying, though, and I'm sure you'll come up with something great, especially with the graphical quality you've obviously got access to.

Nothing interesting.
Enemies die with a SINGLE shot! So why do i need multishot weapon? For the big boss...?

Not So Good
Well, I gotta say, you had a good idea. I liked the old planes and their designs, but do not have enough movement. The shots are ugly, thing that can be resolved without too much trouble. There is not a good amount of sounds, just a music repetitive and boring.
Besides, you could change the game format to something more like a dogfight, where the player can navigate around a scene.

very... wrost
do you just take the code of the nokia cellphone games or what? it´s exactly the style of a cel game, and this is pc, man you don't put a life bar, continues or at least a level up sistem for my plane, it was boring
