TTA Episode 039: New Competition

The Netkings have finally revealed their big surprise, a new competition to decide the most powerful virtual warrior, the X-Games! Alpha and the others are entering, and Zetto as well. Even the D-Bug Org II is entering in an attempt to recover the virus fragment that Webmaster has in his posession! But before the competition starts, Flamegirl will have to get out of a tight spot against yet another old enemy, who becomes overly infected with the power of a virusfrag!

AWSOME I AM finally at 40...

Flamegirl's sideways stance in battle looked odd; the stance she used in her Season 1 fight felt more natural IMO. It was also weird (although funny) how she was completely and utterly indifferent to RavenFreak's return. And at what point did they figure out that Raven was a male with a female-looking avatar? Twas a decent fight though, and a decent setup for the upcoming tournament, although I'm still not crazy about the eight new characters thing (although I guess having more secondary characters for the tournament beats having a bunch of one-offs like Prismaya or Akuma... wait, couldn't they have been secondaries? Prismaya was kinda cool...).

...

...I babble. It has its flaws but this is still a good series (BTW, 38 was pretty awesome; I'd have given it an 8 or 9 if I bothered to review it).
