*Update: Seeing as everyone seems to like this game I have made some improvements, they should be live soon.
Many thanks to the NG crew for front page.

Hello NG Fans, This is a mini game I have made with pure fun in mind, take control of your ship using the "WSAD" or Arrow keys and the mouse to aim, as you go up waves, enemy AI will improve as will their weapons.

Hold down fire to charge your laser into a mega blast, this will pass through multiple enemies and give you combos. Combos = points :)

Try to complete all 10 rounds, it gets tough.

I read all feedback and will be looking for things to improve the game.

thats cool. Im trying to do it with a touch pad and not a mouse so keep that in mind. If I had a mouse it would be great

"I'd buy that for a dollar!"

This game is hot. Well done.

The game is a top-down shooter, and movement is controlled separately from weapons fire, which is somewhat reminiscent of the arcade classic Smash TV. The physics are very glossy and smooth, and yield a wonderful gameplay experience.

In later levels, enemies are thick skinned, so it becomes necessary to charge your weapon to get kills. At the high end, managing your energy resources between your cannon and shields is a fine art.

One detail that I really enjoyed is that once your weapon is charged, the charge depletes over time, not by shots fired. This is huge, and awesome.

Please, move the shield key off of 'q'! It makes me sad having my mobility affected by reaching for the shields, so shileds need to be on a key that can be held down while 'wasd' is being used- 'shift' or 'ctrl' would be great, or you could even take over 'space'. (Who needs brakes, anyway?)

As for things to add- in that limbo when you have just died and are waiting to be reborn (so you can get shot at more times yay), I would like to have a little mini-game appear wherein you can repeatedly punch a baby seal or something. I don't know, I just wanna punch something.

The laser is really cool, but I feel like there should be weapon upgrades or special weapons or something. Big explodey weapons. Put the shield key on 'space', and 'q' can set off the bombs :D

Energy is replenished by making kills, but it's hard to make kills without energy... Maybe make energy slowly regenerate over time to provide another way out of energy debt?

It would be cool if shields reflected shots. What if you could bounce incoming shots by timing your shield just right?

I'm only giving suggestions because I'm excited to see what you'll do next. I commend you! Excellent work!

I'm off to get beat up by hard mode a few more times...

Best 2-d shooter I've played in awhile! But it takes forever to die and it's hard to shoot the missels that come after you.Still very good job!

"Very Good"

It's awesome, but there are a few things I don't like about it. For one, the enemies never change; they just get stronger, faster, and shoot more often. There's no variety as to what they can do; you have the regular ships and the boss ship. That's it. Some variety would be nice; I liked the sudden change when the first boss battle came, and I wish there were more interesting things like that, instead of all the bosses being the same.

The other problem I have is that there's no auto-fire button. It was something like the 26th wave when my clicking-finger was going numb, and it was either quit, die, or lose a finger. This game, despite its unoriginality in places, is addicting, so I kept going until I died again and didn't feel like continuing.

The last problem I have is the enemy missiles. There's nothing you can do to take them down, and you just have to keep flying until they blow themselves up. I personally think that's just not a good a idea.

All in all, still an EXCELLENT game, but it just has a lot of little faults along the line.
