"Rubbish"

date: March 22, 2009

But winnerdie...he's right. It's rubbish.

Most of his other games are as well.

Dude, you should really consider putting more time into ur games...they are all lacking a lot of things.

"It's quite allright"

Though, you should think about writing your own functions for the bullet collisions rather than to use the default collision check included in flash. The bullets travel a certain distance per frame and in this game they often get pass the zombies, because their width is smaller than the distance traveled by the bullet in one frame. You can solve this problem by checking whether the trajectory (the line) on which the bullet was moving during the frame collided with some part of the zombie.
So basically you have two options:
1. Draw a transparent line into the bullet object (its length should be equal to the distance traveled per frame) and continue to use the collision check.
2. Write down the equations for the trajectory of the bullet (for example a*y = b*x + c), write down the equations for the parts of the zombie (this could get really tricky since they mostly consist of hyperboles and parabolas, but you can cheat by using multiple circle and ellipse equations: (x - x0)/a + (y - y0)/b = r^2 ) and check whether the trajectory contains a point which is inside one of the objects.

Also it kinda bad that when the character is moving in one direction he turns his hand really awkwardly to shoot behind his back. Just make him turn to the side where the mouse is and make him walk forwards and backwards.

date: August 16, 2008

you cant even hit them half the time, the bullets pass through them without damage, no rapid fire, and a little map. it sucks, and so far all other games you made sucked
